Have you ever wondered how clay tile mosaics are created? Do you have a flat design idea that you would like to create in clay? Join us for this exciting and fast paced five-week workshop and you will learn the straightforward process to create a clay mosaic. All materials and tools will be provided for you to create up to a 10″ x 10″ mosaic. As a guideline for the complexity of your design, visualize basic coloring book style or simple stained-glass designs, and bring one or more designs to the first session. $295 per work
shop plus a $25 materials fee.

About the Artist

For over 20 years, Barb has been creating tiles and mosaics and has taught in workshops and classes. She is an active member of the Tyler Park center for the arts and enjoys pottery class.

Barb is an engaging and enthusiastic teacher and her workshop offers a unique and immersive experience in clay. 

As a wood carver and wood turner, Barb also enjoys carving clay and exploring surface design elements in her mosaic designs. 

When she’s not at the pottery or in her home studio, you can usually find her making chocolate
in New Hope.
