Sculpture workshop with Peter Cimino
Peter has been a participating Artist/Sculptor of Tyler Park Center for the Arts since 2012, when his world class steel Dragon sculpture, “Draco, The Companion” was transported from California and installed in the Sculpture Garden. Peter Cimino has a natural talent for the Arts and is a self-taught Artist. Learn from him in a special 4 week clay sculpture workshop. Students will be guided through the sculpting technique to the bisque stage.  Workshops will not include glazing stage. Participants who are not current students can add glazing time for $40 (two hours of instruction and glaze use).

Workshop runs for 4 weeks from 10am – 2pm on Mondays or Fridays

Includes 5 lbs. of clay, firing and 16 hours of instruction.

Paper Clay Workshop with Jerry Bennett

Many of the rules that govern regular clay do not apply to paper clay. Jerry Bennett a leading international paper clay artist will conduct a hands-on, 2-day workshop which will provide an opportunity for students to explore and experience new approaches to functional pottery and sculptural forms using paper clay. All Experience Levels are welcome.
2 day workshop April 22 & 23, 2023 from 10am – 5pm $250
